Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking an experienced Underground Supervisor to oversee daily field operations, manage crews and workloads, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently for our customers in the Pittsburgh area. Responsibilities include coordinating with field personnel and management, tracking progress and costs, and maintaining a strong safety and quality focus across sites.

Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years in

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of telecommunications or construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of telecommunications construction terms and practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF software.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Professional and customer‑focused.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage crews, workloads, and production to meet customer timelines and expectations.
• Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, customers, and Kanaan management to resolve job issues and keep work moving.
• Monitor job progress, productivity, and completion status.
• Communicate with customers regarding project status, expectations, and concerns.
• Track job costing, safety, productivity, and operational performance.
• Provide updates and reports to management.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with company and customer requirements.
