Gtatelecom is seeking an Underground Power Technician/Laborer to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical distribution systems. This entry point role offers hands-on exposure to conduit, cables, vaults, and related infrastructure.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, supporting operators and technicians while following project plans and safety procedures. Excellent teamwork and reliable attendance are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are expected.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, duct banks, cable vaults, handholes and related underground infrastructure.
• Pull, place and secure underground electrical cables under supervision.
• Prepare sites and restore areas, including grading and cleanup.
• Assist equipment operators, linemen and technicians.
• Follow utility specs, project plans and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety policies.
