Gtatelecom is seeking an Underground Power Technician/Laborer to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical distribution systems. This entry point role offers hands-on exposure to conduit, cables, vaults, and related infrastructure.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, supporting operators and technicians while following project plans and safety procedures. Excellent teamwork and reliable attendance are essential to succeed.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

An Underground Power Technician/Laborer assistsin the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical power distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install conduit, duct banks, cable vaults, handholes, and related underground infrastructure.
• Pull, place, and secure underground electrical cables under the direction of qualified personnel.
• Perform site preparation and restoration activities, including grading and cleanup.
• Assistequipment operators, linemen, and technicians
• Follow utility specifications, project plans, and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Participate in safety meetings and training programs.

Qualifications

• Previousutility, or underground utility experience preferred.
