KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking experienced Underground Plumbers for a long-term data center project in Turkey, Texas. This role focuses on installing underground sanitary, storm, domestic water, and utility piping while reading drawings and maintaining high safety standards. Expect trench work and collaboration with foremen and operators.

The project runs 1+ year with approximately 58 hours per week, immediate start, and a per diem of $175 per day for qualified travelers.

Qualifications

• Previous underground plumbing experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, elevations, and plumbing drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Install underground sanitary, storm, domestic water, and utility piping systems.
• Lay out underground plumbing systems according to project drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, plumbing drawings, elevations, and project layouts.
• Establish and maintain proper grade, slope, elevation, and alignment for underground piping.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping using approved materials and joining methods.
• Install underground drains, cleanouts, sleeves, fittings, valves, and related components.
• Assist with trench preparation, bedding, pipe placement, and backfill operations.
• Work safely around trenches, excavations, heavy equipment, and active construction operations.
• Coordinate closely with equipment operators, foremen, and other trades.
• Perform inspections, testing, and verification of installed systems as required.
• Identify field conflicts or installation issues and communicate them to project supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all project safety requirements, plumbing codes, and quality-control standards.
