Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Paste Plant Operator to join the Goldstrike Underground team. The role involves operating a process plant, producing paste backfill on surface, and supporting underground fill as geotechnical control. You will monitor circuits, handle reagents, record data, and assist QA laboratory work as needed.

MSHA Part 48 New Miner Training is required to be completed/refreshed prior to start date. Rotating night/day schedule is an essential function of this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a processing facility preferred.
• Experience with high pressure/high temperature systems preferred.
• Experience in chemicals and reagents handling preferred.
• Direct mining/processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work area exams to identify safety issues and document conditions.
• Inspect routine equipment to identify defects and mitigate issues.
• Maintain circuit operating parameters within designated limits.
• Ensure sampling is conducted at designated intervals and documented.
• Operate circuits to meet regulatory requirements and stop/start equipment.
• Understand process flows and perform LOTO and troubleshooting.
• Work with team to complete tasks; rotate nights and days.
