Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Mobile Maintenance General Supervisor at our Goldstrike operations. You will lead safe maintenance activities and oversee supervisors, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies while driving reliability and cost-effective outcomes.

The role requires extensive maintenance experience, leadership, and the ability to read blueprints. A rotating night/day schedule and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of verifiable and related maintenance experience.
• Five (5) years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics required.
• Professional communication skills with various levels of employees both verbally and in writing required.
• Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others required.
• Proficient with basic computer software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Commitment to developing and maintaining a safe work culture required.
• Able to drive manual transmission mine tractor and other company vehicles required.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe execution of maintenance activities for various types of equipment (mobile).
• Support the objectives of mine maintenance with the Maintenance Superintendent.
• Supervise the maintenance supervisors and planning of their career development.
• Ensure that all maintenance service activities operate within safety, security, and environmental policies and regulations to protect the employees and assets of the company.
• Participate in maintenance planning processes.
• Ensure that departmental condition monitoring and reliability objectives are met.
• Administer company policies and procedures.
• Support operational objectives by minimizing risks and maximizing value focusing on cost management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
