Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines seeks an Underground Mobile Maintenance Superintendent for the Goldstrike operations. You will champion safety, lead underground maintenance and succession planning, and develop work processes aligned with the Life of Mine strategy.

The role drives continuous improvement across maintenance and operations with cross-functional partners. Ideal candidates bring a Mine Engineering background or extensive underground experience, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage

Qualifications

Degree in Mine Engineering or 10+ years underground experience.
At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to interpret engineering plans and assess ground control.
Strong knowledge of underground mining equipment and methods.
Proven safe work record and compliance with safety and environment requirements.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence others.
Ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Participate in mine planning, maintenance coordination, and work audits.
Assist in budget development and variance monitoring.
Develop and implement operation improvement strategies.
Support standards and implementation with technical and maintenance counterparts.
Plan organizational assignments and succession.
Support LO M strategy for underground division.
Perform other duties as required.
