Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines, a Barrick/Newmont venture, seeks an Underground Mobile Maintenance Technician for Turquoise Ridge. Maintain mobile mining equipment and support safe, efficient operation in a dynamic, high‑performing team environment.

Role requires underground maintenance experience, tool/diagnostic ownership, and strong safety record. Be part of a collaborative workforce in Winnemucca, NV, with opportunities across Barrick locations.

Qualifications

• Three years of underground mobile maintenance experience, including road headers.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Experience welding, cutting, grinding, and hard facing is preferred.
• Proven safe work record.
• Willing to work in a team-based maintenance organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform all mobile maintenance duties on underground equipment (drills, bolters, trucks, muckers, etc.).
• Own and maintain personal hand tools and some power tools.
• Own and maintain diagnostic equipment (multimeters, hydraulic testers).
• Lift heavy items and work in tight spaces; maintain schedules safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the frontline supervisor to resolve maintenance issues.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for safety and health.
• Establish relations to execute daily maintenance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Rotate schedule of nights and days.
