Job summary

Bunker Hill Mine in Kellogg, Idaho, seeks an experienced Miner to safely perform underground mining activities supporting ore production. You will operate loaders, haul trucks, drills, bolters, and related equipment while following mine plans and safety procedures to meet production goals.

The role requires strong teamwork, good communication, and the ability to work extended shifts in a demanding underground environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mine safety procedures and hazard recognition.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and follow mine plans, procedures, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground mining activities in accordance with mine plans, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Operate loaders, haul trucks, drills, bolters, utility vehicles, and other mining equipment as assigned.
• Complete scaling, mucking, drilling, blasting support, and ground support installation activities.
• Inspect work areas for hazards, ground conditions, and equipment issues before and during operations.
• Install and maintain rock bolts, mesh, screen, and other ground support systems.
• Load, haul, and transport ore and waste materials safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings, safety inspections, toolbox talks, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Accurately complete production, equipment, and safety documentation.
• Comply with all company policies, MSHA regulations, and environmental requirements.
