Job summary

LS Solutions is seeking a hands-on utility worker to support safe underground salt mining operations. The role focuses on cleaning salt buildup, clearing pathways, operating heavy equipment, and assisting production teams while following strict safety standards.

You will perform routine inspections, maintain PPE, and help ensure shaft and conveyor access. Ideal candidates are comfortable in underground environments and capable of handling forklifts, bobcats, and other machinery.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear salt accumulation across shafts, elevators, feeders, conveyors, and walkways.
• Support shaft elevator operations and help keep material handling pathways accessible.
• Operate and maneuver equipment including forklifts, trucks, tractors, and bobcats.
• Perform routine inspections and checks on assets and work areas.
• Follow strict safety standards and consistently use required PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-aware work environment.
• Assist production teams as needed to support ongoing operations.
