Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of underground mining experience and strong knowledge of underground mining operations.
• Experience operating continuous mining equipment in challenging or adverse conditions.
• Ability to recognize and respond safely to underground hazards.

Responsibilities

• Perform excavation work supporting underground mine development and construction projects.
• Operate conventional and continuous mining equipment.
• Identify safety hazards and report unsafe conditions.
• Rehabilitate underground entryways and roadways.
• Maintain safe, clean underground work areas.
• Support the installation, rehabilitation, and maintenance of mine ventilation and water systems.
• Operate core drilling equipment for the underground drilling program.
• Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and safety compliance.
