Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years locating drill string and running crew.
• Clean insurable driving record.
• Class A CDL preferred; chauffer’s license or CDL permit required before starting. Must obtain CDL within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to overtime; must be team oriented and display leadership skills.
• Exceptional knowledge of horizontal directional drills.
• Positive attitude, hard work ethic, safety priority.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Directional Bore crew and assist training new hires.

• Adhere to all federal, state, local laws and permitting for each jobsite.
• Locate the bore path for the drilling equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance on all jobsite equipment and vehicles.

• Locate and pothole necessary utility lines.
• Demonstrate good field judgment and safety compliance.
• Perform duties per company safety procedures and policies.

We are looking for an Underground Locator/Operator to join our growing team. This individual will be required to adhere to strict safety standards while ensuring the highest quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead Directional Bore crew and assist training new hires
• Read and interpret blueprints and permits
• Adhere to all Federal, State, Local laws and permitting pertaining to each jobsite
• Locate the bore path for the Drilling equipment
• Preform daily maintenance on all jobsite equipment and vehicles
• Ensure proper bore rig set-up, & fluid mixing
• Able to properly attach product to be pulled in
• Able to accurately operate DCI tracking systems
• Able to locate and pothole necessary utility lines
• Demonstrate good judgment in the field
• Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies
