Job summary

DCS Contracting, Inc. is seeking hard working Underground Laborers / Pipe Layer Helpers to join our team in the Greater Phoenix Valley. This is a full-time position with pay starting at $20+ an hour, depending on experience. Our crews work 8 hours a day, with summer hours from 5am to 1pm and winter hours from 7am to 3pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions from field supervision.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be a team player and help out where needed for project success.
• Safety first mindset; stop work if unsafe.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor, including job site cleanup.
• Assist crew members with various labor tasks.
• Move construction materials by hand and with transport equipment.
• Prepare worksite for other crew members and tasks.
• Operate power tools and small machinery as directed.
• Meet production goals under Foreman or Superintendent guidance.
• Adhere to safety policies and instructions.
