Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an engineering intern to support the design, development, and implementation of high voltage underground transmission lines (69kV–500kV). The role offers exposure to transmission components, project workflows, and hands-on learning through software training and site visits.

You will work primarily in an office setting with a hybrid 3-2 schedule, and you must be pursuing a ABET-accredited engineering degree with a 2.5 GPA or higher.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Rising Junior or Senior with graduation date Fall 2028 or later.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, and implementation of high voltage underground transmission lines.
• Learn transmission line impacts on the grid and underground components.
• Participate in project workflows, site visits, and software training.
