Job summary

Blue Moon Metals is seeking a safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join the Projects team at the Springer Mine & Milling Complex in Imlay, Nevada. The role involves operating haul trucks, loaders, LHDs and other heavy equipment in underground and surface mining environments.

You will perform pre-operational inspections, maintain equipment, follow MSHA regulations, and work with cross-functional teams to support safe, productive operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy mobile equipment in mining or similar environments.
• Familiarity with underground and surface work conditions.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as haul trucks, loaders, LHDs, and dozers as directed.
• Perform pre-ops, inspections, and routine maintenance checks.
• Work safely in underground or surface mining settings and follow MSHA rules.
• Coordinate with supervision and maintenance teams to report issues.
