Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking energized individuals to operate a variety of mining equipment at our North Ames limestone mine. The role focuses on operating scalers, haul trucks, loaders and water trucks, while adhering to safety and production standards.

You will perform pre-shift inspections, coordinate with maintenance teams, and support other mining tasks as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus at least one year of related experience and a valid license.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1-year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
• Bi-Lingual is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road haul trucks and other mining equipment.
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle and work area.
• Observe signals during vehicle operation.
• Assist on plant maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Other mining-related duties as required.
