Job summary

Kline Electric Inc is seeking a Groundwork Foreman to oversee site preparation, excavation, trenching, and other underground activities. You will lead the crew, manage daily activities, maintain equipment, and collaborate with Project Managers and customers to meet project objectives.

This role requires 2+ years in underground work with 1+ year in supervision, strong leadership, blueprint reading, and communication. Safety is a priority, and travel to job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in underground work and 1+ year in supervisory role.
• Concrete finishing knowledge and experience.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and blueprint reading abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the underground crew and ensure tasks follow project plans.
• Plan and schedule activities with Project Managers; coordinate with other trades.
• Interpret blueprints and layouts.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.
• Monitor work quality and manage materials, tools, and labor hours.
• Maintain daily logs and report progress to the Project Manager.
