Qualifications

• Technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Underground mining experience required.
• Diesel and high voltage electrical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret equipment schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical underground mining equipment.
• Perform equipment commissioning and customer-site training with minimal supervision.
• Travel approximately 50% and operate in underground and surface environments; company vehicle provided.
• Maintain accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists.
• Stay current with Sandvik products, customer needs, and safety policies.
