Job summary

Mammoth Energy in Moore, OK is seeking an underground construction laborer/operator to install and maintain Fiber Optic infrastructure. You will perform manual labor and operate specialized tools to assist in excavation and utility installation projects, working with equipment operators and skilled tradespeople to ensure safe placement of underground systems.

The role requires physical strength and endurance, willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and compliance with OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• CDL strongly preferred and valid driver’s license required.
• Physically capable of lifting 50–80 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience with hand and power tools (jackhammers, saws, air compressors, tamping equipment).
• OSHA 10-hour training or Class A CDL preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Excavation and trenching operations using shovels, picks, or mini-excavators.
• Conduit, cables, and pipes placement; install anchors, pedestals, vaults.
• Load/unload materials and equipment from delivery vehicles.
• Assist in potholing and locate underground obstructions to prevent damage.
• Backfill holes, compact soil, and restore landscaping or pavement.
• Maintain safety, set up barricades, and follow OSHA protocols.
