Job summary

ALLO Communications, LLC is seeking an Underground Construction Technician to install and maintain ALLO’s underground conduit network, including pedestals and fiber pathways. The role requires operating heavy equipment, reading maps and plans, and ensuring safety standards in outdoor construction.

The position is based in Lincoln, NE with up to 50% travel; a CDL A is required within 60 days of hire, and a High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; CDL A or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Experience with outdoor/underground construction is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and read construction maps/plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trench areas for conduit installation and related structures.
• Install, maintain, and expand conduit network for underground fiber.
• Operate heavy equipment and use hand/power tools safely.
• Inspect and locate underground cables and maintain safety procedures.
• Travel up to 50% as needed for project schedules.
• Maintain and drive company vehicles; ensure licenses are valid.
