Job summary

Jennmar Services is seeking an Underground Maintenance Technician with 3–5 years of underground maintenance experience and a current MSHA Electrical Card. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills within an underground mining environment.

The role requires safe work practices, teamwork, and a focus on preventative maintenance and timely repairs to minimize downtime on underground mining equipment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of underground maintenance experience.
• Current MSHA Electrical Card required.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing underground mining equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Ability to work safely in an underground mining environment.
• Must follow MSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Must be dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on underground mining equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
• Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled equipment repairs
• Inspect equipment and identify potential safety or mechanical concerns
• Repair and replace electrical and mechanical components as needed
• Minimize equipment downtime through timely troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Complete required maintenance documentation
• Follow all MSHA regulations and site-specific safety procedures
