Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Electrician to join our Goldstrike Underground Electrical Team. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing underground and surface equipment, and performing new electrical installations as required.

You will work on a rotating schedule of nights and days, must meet high safety standards, and collaborate with a team to ensure reliable mining operations. Strong reading of complex prints and knowledge of electrical codes are preferred, along with a

Qualifications

• Two years underground electrical experience preferred.
• High voltage experience preferred.
• Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background preferred.
• Ability to read complex prints and a good understanding of electrical codes preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team player required.
• Exemplary safety performance and attendance record required.
• Ability to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role required.
