Job summary

AUI Inc (Power) in Elkton, MD seeks an Underground Foreman to lead crews performing underground electrical distribution work. The role focuses on daily work planning, safety enforcement, quality control, and coordination with project management, utilities, and inspectors.

You will mentor crew members and maintain production accountability on busy job sites. The position requires extensive field experience, a strong safety record, and the ability to read electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in underground electrical distribution, with 3+ years as Foreman.
• Ability to read electrical prints and schematics; familiar with network systems.
• Must pass LOTO and Exelon clearance; Delmarva TOA knowledge; Miss Utility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to Journeymen and Groundmen on site.
• Plan daily work, enforce safety, and ensure quality control.
• Coordinate with project managers, utilities, and inspectors.
• Mentor crew members and manage materials and equipment.
• Read site plans and interpret scopes of work.
