Job summary

Team Fishel in Richmond, VA is seeking a Foreman to lead field crews on underground electric projects, ensuring work aligns with project goals and safety standards.

You will support supervision, read blueprints, coordinate with trades, monitor QA, and help maintain crew productivity while delivering quality installations on time.

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical distribution construction experience, especially with duct banks.
• Experience reading blueprints and specifications.
• Desirable bilingual English/Spanish for site coordination.

Description

Team Fishel , the Best Choice in Utility Construction, is hiring Foremen for underground electric projects in the Richmond, VA area. The Foreman will be responsible for assisting the supervisor, by leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Leads on various projects
• Ensures accuracy of timesheets and expense reports
• Develops work-around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc.
• Monitors Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards
• Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews during their work
• Reports, coordinates and supervises all aspects of a project
• May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance

Requirements & Qualifications

• Demonstrated extensive electrical distribution construction experience, particularly with duct banks
• Must have previous experience working from blueprints, and specifications
• High school education or equivalent classes in industry-related courses
• Bilingual English / Spanish is desirable
