Job summary

Traylor Bros., Inc. seeks a draftsman to join our Underground Division in Tempe, AZ. You will produce 2D and 3D drawings and prepare fabrication drawings from sketches and notes, collaborating with estimating and site teams.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in drafting or engineering, with AutoCAD experience and familiarity with Revit or Civil 3D. Travel to project sites may be required; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or Engineering required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience using AutoCAD required; experience with Revit and Civil 3D preferred.
• SolidWorks desirable.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and drawing production.
• Travel to attend training and meetings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D drawings using CAD systems.
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for tunnels, structures, and installations.
• Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles using cross-sections and surveys.
• Finish and distribute drawings and documentation packages per specifications.
• Review sketches, drawings and specs to ensure conformance with design concepts.
• Correlate, interpret, and modify data from surveys.
• Generate material lists with descriptions, part marks, and quantities.
• Travel as required to attend meetings and site visits.
