Job summary

Delve Underground is seeking a Construction Manager to lead world-class tunnel and underground infrastructure projects. This full-time role requires directing project teams, forecasting issues, and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery across transport, water, and gas pipeline installations.

The ideal candidate will have 20+ years in heavy civil fields, 15+ years in management, and hold a Civil Engineering degree, with English fluency and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• 20+ years heavy civil industry experience: engineering, construction or construction management.
• 15+ years specialized management experience in construction management of large underground projects.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as project owner's representative, manage contractors, handle payments, change orders, and certificates of completion.
• Oversee progress reporting to the owner's organization.
• Manage a construction management team including resident engineers and inspectors.
• Lead discussions, meetings, and workshops.
• Plan, create and oversee schedules, specifications, and budget reports.
• Lead QA/QC reviews per client requirements.
• Manage projects with budgets up to $500 Million.
• Develop business development strategies with new and existing clients.
