Job summary

Delve Underground in Seattle, WA is seeking a Construction Manager to lead major underground tunnel projects.

This full-time role requires directing project teams, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring QA/QC to deliver on time and within a $500 Million scope. You will serve as the owner's representative, coordinating with engineers, inspectors, and cost controllers, and drive business development while promoting the company's strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 20+ years heavy civil experience with 15+ years in construction management of large underground projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or overseas equivalent).
• Registration/certification as technologist or engineer.
• Fluent English speaking and writing; willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as owner's representative managing contractors and contract administration.
• Lead a construction management team including engineers, inspectors, and cost controllers.
• Lead discussions, meetings, and workshops.
• Plan, create and oversee schedules, specifications, and budget reports.
• Lead QA/QC reviews per client requirements and company policy.
• Manage projects with budgets up to $500 Million.
• Develop business development strategies with new and existing clients.
• Promote and represent the Company in industry forums.
• Provide input to company strategic initiatives and objectives.
• Promote construction management group growth and development.
