Job summary

Interlaken, Inc. is currently seeking experienced Laborers for the Portland metro area. This full-time, local position offers prevailing wage opportunities and benefits including health, retirement, and PTO. A valid driver's license is required and OSHA 10, Flagger, and CPR cards are preferred.

Responsibilities include daily machine maintenance, grade checks, pipe/grade laser usage, and safe work practices. Prior underground construction experience is strongly favored.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in underground construction
• Capable of checking grade
• Proficient with excavators, backhoes, and other heavy machinery
• Proficient with small tools
• H.S. diploma or greater
• Valid driver’s license
• OSHA 10
• Flagger card
• CPR card
• Self motivated
• Safety minded

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of machines and vehicles
• Check grade
• Proficient with use of pipe/grade laser
• Hand shovel when necessary
• Paperwork when required
• Promote safe workplace
