Job summary

Interlaken, Inc. is a growing site and utility excavation contractor seeking experienced, safety focused heavy equipment operators for prevailing wage work in the Portland metro area.

This full-time local position requires at least 2+ years in underground construction, ability to check grade, and proficiency with excavators, backhoes, and related tools. A valid driver’s license is required and OSHA 10 is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of underground construction experience.
• Capable of checking grade and using grade lasers.
• Proficient with excavators, backhoes and other heavy machinery.
• Proficient with small hand tools and safe work practices.
• H.S. diploma or higher and a valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of machines and vehicles.
• Check grade and operate grade laser equipment.
• Operate heavy machinery including excavators and backhoes.
• Complete paperwork as required and promote a safe workplace.

Interlaken, Inc. is a growing site and utility excavation contractor, certified WBE. We are seeking experienced, safety focused, career minded PREVAILING WAGE Heavy Equipment Operators to add to our TEAM!

Full Time/Local Portland Metro Area

Pay Rate: Depends on Experience

Prevailing Wage Work Available

Non-Union Contractor

Valid Drivers License Required

Candidates with deep drywell experience operating hydraulic clamshell equipment are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or greater
• Valid Drivers License
