Job summary

Utilities One Group is seeking dedicated, local Construction Laborers to join our drilling crew in Oregon. This position focuses on assisting with underground utilities installation, boring, and trenching across job sites in the Portland area.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license and construction labor experience. CDL is a plus. We offer competitive pay and long-term employment with opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• Experience as a general laborer in construction.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
• Experience driving a pickup with a trailer.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Drill Locator & Operator with installation of underground utilities, boring and trenching.
• Perform preparatory work by clearing obstacles and hazards.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Follow supervisor instructions.

• Assist the Drill Locator & Operator with the installation of underground utilities, boring & trenching.
• Perform preparatory work before drilling by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL is an advantage.
• Experience driving a pickup truck with a trailer.
• Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry.
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
