What you'll do

• Perform tasks related to installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling
• Hand dig using shovels and mechanical tools
• Climb into and out of equipment such as trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
• Work in congested or remote areas
• Maintain visual and audible contact with crew members and all moving or stationary objects to ensure safety
• Perform general construction work under the supervision of a Foreman or Supervisor
• Flagging, property or worksite restoration
• Maintain safe working habits/conditions in accordance with all regulations, procedures, and policies

Who we are looking for:

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Experience in the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools safely
• Ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safety standards
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Willingness to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, and in all weather conditions
