Job summary

Cable Services Company in Meadville is seeking an Underground Construction Crew Member to join our field teams performing underground construction work in varying weather. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work long shifts.

Responsibilities include material handling, inventory, traffic control setup, safety checks, and accurate reporting. Travel to project sites with overnight stays is expected; two years driving experience and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of driving experience with no major infractions in the last three years.
• Two years of construction experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background screen.
• Must complete and pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine underground construction tasks and cable handling.
• Stock truck with materials and organize tools/equipment.
• Set up traffic control signs and cones; direct traffic as needed.
• Complete daily safety inspections and required documentation.
• Work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Travel to project sites as required, with overnight stays when instructed.
