Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking an Underground Construction Crew Member to join our traveling Northeast teams, based around Mount Joy. Expect extended overnight stays away from home with occasional local assignments.

The role involves hands-on underground construction tasks, driving, and daily tool/material handling. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work long hours, and comply with safety policies. DOT and background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of driving experience with no major driving infractions in the past three years.
• Two years of construction experience preferred.
• Willing and able to travel away from home with overnight stays.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities

• Pull rope, climb ladders, use hand tools, manual digging with a shovel, cable handling and general cleanup.
• Stock trucks with materials to ensure adequate daily supply.
• Organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Set up traffic control signs and cones; flag and direct traffic as needed.
