Job summary

Traylor Bros. is offering a full-time in-person internship/co-op for eligible college students across the United States. The program alternates work and school sessions and may require relocation, fully paid by us if needed. The internship lasts about January–May 2026 with flexibility on dates.

The role provides hands-on experience in civil construction engineering, including estimating, design, scheduling, procurement, surveying, and cost reporting, under safety-conscious supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Civil, Mechanical, Construction Engineering & Management or related program and have completed sophomore year.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply critical engineering and management thinking to project tasks.
• Assist in development and implementation of safety plans.
• Conduct site audits and material testing and analysis.
• Perform inventory checks, daily field testing, and cost analyses.
• Prepare change orders and production tracking.
• Assist with drawings (method/field), estimating, scheduling, and surveying.
• Support procurement and quality assurance reviews.
• Maintain files and records, copying and scanning.
• Process charts/graphs, designs, and proposals.
• Take on additional responsibilities as directed.
