Traylor Bros. invites eligible college students to join our internship or co-op program, offering hands-on Civil Construction Engineer experience while alternating work and classes.

This in-person program spans multiple sites nationwide with relocation paid if needed. Interns may be assigned to active projects or offices; start/end dates flexible around university requirements, typically January to May 2026.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Civil, Mechanical, Construction Engineering & Management or related program; must have completed sophomore year.
• Leadership potential; problem-solving; ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply critical engineering and management thinking.
• Assist in development and implementation of safety plans.
• Conduct site audits and material testing and analysis.
• Perform inventory checks, daily field engineering tests, and cost analyses.
• Complete change order preparations and production tracking.
• Assist with drawings (method/field) estimating, scheduling, and surveying.
• Support with procurement and quality assurance reviews.
• Maintaining files and records, copying, and scanning.
• Process charts/graphs, designs, and proposals.
• Assume additional responsibilities as directed.
