Job summary

JENNMAR Services is hiring experienced underground coal miners for opportunities throughout Harrison and Marion County, WV, and Mannington, WV. You must have West Virginia Black Hat certification and be able to perform demanding underground work, including roof bolting and scoop operation.

The role pays $27/hour with sign-on and retention bonuses, plus benefits such as PTO and a 401(k). A pre-employment screen and drug testing are required, with shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current West Virginia Experienced Underground Miner / Black Hat certification required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform physically demanding underground work.
• Ability to regularly lift 50–75 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry and work above shoulder/head level.
• Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening.
• Drug and alcohol testing required.
