Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a skilled Cable Splicer to construct and repair underground electrical systems. This safety‑driven role involves working on energized and de‑energized lines, with travel to various job sites as needed.

The position requires three years of underground experience, a valid CDL, and a willingness to travel and work overtime. You will operate heavy equipment and train apprentices in a hands‑on environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of recent underground experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized underground systems.
• Lead crew in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground power conductors and related hardware.
• Work in confined spaces and near energized equipment.
