Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Cable Splicer to safely construct and repair underground electrical systems, working on energized and de-energized lines.

The role involves travel to multiple job sites, including out-of-state locations, and reports to the Foreman.

Candidates must have at least three years of underground experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to work overtime, outages, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Three years of underground experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.
• Out-of-state assignments may be required.
• Live-line work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground electrical construction, maintenance and repair with safety first.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground power conductors and related hardware.
• Operate backhoes, bucket trucks, digger trucks and a mini excavator.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and during outages or emergencies.
