Job summary

Ohio County Coal Resources, Inc. in Dallas, WV seeks a Belt Supervisor (Full Time) to lead a crew responsible for the installation and maintenance of underground beltlines, ensuring a safe work area and compliance with safety inspections.

You will collaborate with the Shift Foreman and Maintenance Supervisors, train new hires in operating techniques, and hold staff accountable for safe, productive performance while working in an underground environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years coal mining experience.
• Minimum one year of production experience.
• Excellent leadership and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of general mining practices and laws.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision to a crew of employees responsible for the installation and maintenance of all underground beltlines.
• Responsible for providing a safe work area.
• Performs visual safety inspections and reports potentially unsafe conditions to mine personnel.
• Works closely with the Shift Foreman to follow the mine plan and with Maintenance Supervisors on beltline maintenance.
• Teaches new employees the correct operating techniques and safety habits underground.
• Holds employees accountable for safe and productive performance.
