Job description

This position requires a current KY State electrical card. Must be able to work any shift and maintain and repair underground mining equipment and machinery.

The essential function of this position are as follows:

• 1. Emergency and Preventative Maintenance, including electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair/replacement of component parts, on all production and support equipment.
• 2. Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, i.e. greasing, fluid checks, oil and filter change, etc.
• 3. Perform permissibility checks
• 4. Welding and acetylene torch cutting repair and mechanical fabricating.
• 5. Splicing equipment cables as needed.
• 6. Weld belt drives and starter boxes.
