Qualifications

• Practical experience with explosive gas or other dangerous gases found in coal mines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of underground anthracite coal mines and rescue operations.
• Enter all findings into the department's electronic data system for accurate reporting.
• Engage with the public and mining stakeholders to advocate safety measures and compliance with standards.
• Evaluate mining equipment during inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Promptly inform mine officials and personnel of hazardous conditions to enable corrective actions.
