Job summary

Bowling Green State University seeks a student assistant to assist a professor in updating and maintaining a research project database and perform related tasks as assigned.

The role involves locating and organizing court records, logging case numbers, scanning and indexing documents into OnBase, and entering data into the database. Training new undergraduate assistants and attending weekly meetings are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Junior standing or higher; preference for Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or Data Science majors.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience with OnBase.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Junior standing or higher with preference to Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, and/or Data Science majors.

• Completion of Responsible Conduct in Research training prior to start of job, and annual refresher training.
• Must maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher on all coursework at BGSU.

• This position supports Dr. Stinson and his ongoing research project.
• Continued employment is subject to the availability of grant funding and satisfactory job performance.
• Must sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement each semester.
• Assigned work hours vary.
