Job summary

West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX seeks a Program Specialist I to support the Undergraduate Dean and program staff. You will coordinate administrative functions, supervise staff, and manage study abroad and recruitment initiatives for on-campus and online programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in student services or higher education is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative support for the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs and the COB Undergraduate Program.
  • Supervise assigned staff, plan work and priorities.
  • Develop administrative objectives and strategies for the COB Undergraduate Programs.
  • Coordinate prospective student communication plans and management of online students.
  • Create, manage, analyze, and review documents for students, faculty, and staff; maintain advising materials.
  • Create and manage Online Undergraduate Program initiatives and special analyses.
