Job summary

Temple University’s Enrollment Management Department is seeking an Admissions Counselor to recruit undergraduate domestic first-year students, represent the University professionally, and manage a recruitment territory with extensive travel. The role also includes reading applications, presenting information sessions to prospective students and families, and performing related duties.

A Bachelor's degree is required with admissions experience preferred; 100% on-site position with travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Admissions experience preferred.
• Experience with on-campus/off-campus recruitment events and presentations.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and select undergraduate domestic first-year students.
• Aggressively manage a recruitment territory with extensive travel to high schools, college fairs, and other programs.
• Read and evaluate freshman applications and present on-campus information sessions to prospective students and families.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
