Job summary

Johnson & Wales University in Philadelphia is seeking an Admissions Representative to oversee recruitment in Southeastern Pennsylvania, visiting schools, college fairs and events to encourage applicants to apply and enroll.

The role requires building relationships with counselors and prospective students, conducting presentations, guiding applicants through the enrollment process, and staying informed about programs and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent formal training program.
• Experience working in admissions, sales, marketing or other related experience.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must live in or relocate to southeastern Pennsylvania upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a strategy to administer student recruitment activities within an assigned territory.
• Conducts targeted school visibility in assigned territory.
• Promotes application for and enrollment in the university's programs.
• Maintains relationships with prospective students, parents, educators and counselors to share information and encourage enrollment.
• Conducts group admissions presentations and demonstrations for prospective students and families.
• Represents the university in recruiting activities, including social media, conferences, fairs, events, and telemarketing.
• Stays informed about academic programs and admissions policies and processes.
• Maintains records of recruitment efforts and applicant correspondence.
• Assists with various admissions functions and events as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
