Job summary

Caltech is seeking an Undergraduate Admissions Specialist to support recruitment, selection, and enrollment of entering first-year and transfer classes. You will coordinate admissions operations, manage Slate CRM data, and partner with officers, ambassadors, and campus partners to deliver an exceptional applicant experience.

This role requires a bachelor's degree, 2+ years in admissions or related fields, strong organizational and communication skills, and comfort with events and weekend work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of experience generating queries and reports with database management and CRM systems.
• Understanding of relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Minimum 2 years in admissions, education, customer service, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Process and review undergraduate applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate receipt, organization, and distribution of documents and test scores.
• Maintain applicant records in Slate and generate status reports.
• Monitor portals and resolve technical issues for applicants.
• Assist in communications to prospective students and families.
• Support campus events and recruitment logistics in Slate.
• Develop shared queries and reports to track admissions work.
