Job summary

Duke University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks an Admissions Officer to engage with prospective students and guide them through the admissions process. You will represent Duke to students, parents, alumni, and school counselors, evaluate applications, and plan recruitment events.

The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple priorities. Depending on experience, you may be hired as an Admissions Officer, Senior Admissions Officer, or Assistant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent writing and public speaking skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license (must be presented during hiring process).

Responsibilities

• Represent Duke University at high schools, college fairs, and events.
• Evaluate applications and participate in the selection process.
• Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.
• Conduct information sessions for large and small groups.
• Collaborate with student volunteers and campus partners.
