Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student with the stated credit-hour condition.
• CAD modeling experience is required.
• 3D printing experience is required.
• Willingness to work in-person at Pickle Research Campus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble structural frames using steel tubing and/or aluminum extrusions per CAD specs.
• Design, model, and iterate CAD assemblies for chassis, suspension, steering, etc.
• 3D print prototype parts and fixtures and iterate designs based on fit and function testing.
• Support integration of mechanical, electrical, sensor, and control subsystems with interface coordination.
• Assist with bench and field testing of ground and aerial systems.
• Lead machine shop fabrication tasks (cutting, welding, drilling, tapping).
