JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College of Engineering, Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering is seeking applicants for part‑time job of Undergrad Research Assistant.

Job duties to include:

• Support the design, fabrication, and testing of mechanical fixtures for battery pack assembly and research.
• Assist with CAD design, prototyping, fixture validation, and technical documentation.
• Develop fixture concepts for locating, holding, and securing battery pack components.
• Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Perform fit checks and evaluate fixture alignment, rigidity, and repeatability.
• Document design iterations, test results, and engineering changes.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this job is $15.00.

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
