Job summary

The University of South Florida Health College of Nursing seeks a full-time, non-tenure-track Instructor I to join its clinical/teaching faculty. Primary focus is undergraduate instruction, with responsibilities that may include graduate teaching, mentoring students, serving on committees, and collaborating with clinical sites (which may require travel).

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.
• Must hold, or be eligible for, licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Florida by the start date.
• Minimum of two years of direct patient care clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Primary focus is undergraduate instruction, with responsibilities that may include graduate-level teaching, mentoring students, serving on committees, participating in community engagement, and acting as a liaison with clinical sites (which may require travel).
• Teaching may occur across USF's campuses; faculty contribute to curriculum design and evaluation of program outcomes.
